Your responsibilities and tasks:

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for business growth and customer relationships? We are looking for a Business Manager – Homogenisation to drive sales, expand market reach, and develop strong client connections in the UK. If you thrive in a dynamic sales environment and have a deep understanding of homogenisation equipment, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Grow Sales & Market Reach
  • Identify key areas for business growth and develop a targeted sales strategy.
  • Expand market coverage while ensuring profitability.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships in core business areas.
  • Strategic Sales Development
  • Develop and prioritise regional and global sales initiatives.
  • Support and implement local sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Customer Engagement & Negotiation
  • Build strong relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Lead contract negotiations and support closing deals.
  • Work closely with the projects team during and after the sales phase to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Selling
  • Work alongside service sales engineers to maximise opportunities across business areas.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities with other divisions.
  • Maintain close working relationships with the Business Line in Parma.
  • Operational Support & Reporting
  • Support marketing efforts and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Assist the sales admin team with order processing and project handovers.
  • Provide detailed sales reports to the Head of Sales or Sales Director.
  • Maintain accurate records and CRM forecasting.
  • Product & Service Development
  • Conduct site demonstrations and trials of laboratory-scale homogenisers at customer locations.
  • Contribute to product development and innovation projects.

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in homogenisation equipment sales within relevant markets.
  • Strong sales background with experience in a product/sales matrix environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process, including pricing, CRM, and order management.
  • Proven negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Ability to understand business on a broad scale, with a focus on customer needs and expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and other relevant software.
  • A team player with excellent networking and listening skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a natural ability to sell.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Sales negotiation training.
  • A Degree or HNC/HND in a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
