KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Workforce Planning: Support workforce planning for 600 FTEs, predicting future skillset requirements and training needs, focusing on increasing technical and commercial skillsets.
  • LSS Lead of Talent Programs: Manage the distribution, onboarding, and management of graduates and emerging talent programs such as the Finance Academy, ensuring alignment with LFS and the Central People Team.
  • SSC Apprenticeship Scheme: Head the SSC Apprenticeship scheme (currently 50 FTE), ensuring effective program management and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Innovative Recruitment and Resource Planning: Work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop new and innovative ways to recruit, including partnerships with local education providers to attract graduates. Lead capacity and resource planning for today and the future, including oversight and creation of the LSS Bradford rota
  • L&D Budget Management: Manage the Learning & Development (L&D) budget, working with central people teams to meet skills gaps and drive employee engagement.
  • Cultural Initiatives: Create initiatives to nurture and grow the organisational culture, ensuring alignment with emerging talent and skill sets.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and implement the LSS Communication Strategy to drive engagement
  • Town Hall Facilitation and Planning: Facilitate the LSS Town Halls, creating and collating content, aligning the LSS Leadership Team and hosting the sessions either virtually or in Bradford

PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles and workforce planning.
  • Experience in organising and managing events.
  • Strong background in collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams) and adaptability to new technology/tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
