REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed university degree in chemistry or associated fields
  • Min. 3 - 5 years of experience and track record in sales with experience in selling products, services, and technologies and an affinity to the dynamic world of technical sales as well as expertise in Coating Industry (esp. in Civil Engineering), commercial and or technical role. Ideally with Epoxy knowledge.
  • Affinity to our products and our customers industries as well as a passion for giving our customers competent technical advice e.g. by arranging customer seminars
  • Ideally Laboratory-experiences in applied technology and creating formulations for customers
  • Interest in commercial aspects with strong negotiation skills
  • Affinity to work with several IT tools to steer the business like MS Dynamics 365, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Cupset +, SAP, MS Office etc.
  • People who can move confidently in a versatile, open, and international organization, who enjoy different cultures and with strong and effective communication skills in Italian and English, Spanish and French is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external business partners on all levels
  • Effective team players who enjoy working together in a distributed team
  • Ability to self-motivate, maintain high level of organization, and coordinate many projects simultaneously
  • People who love travelling (up to 75%) and want to be at the side of our customers in our international markets
  • People who want to grow as part of an international team and enjoy training opportunities in Germany
  • This position is a remote function in Italy.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer.
  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives.
  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
  • Responsibility for distributor selection, management and coordination, providing direction and support
  • Participate in forecasting, budgetting, setting sales goals, creating sales opportunities and identify market data
  • Responsible to foster the businesses`technical sales approach, help identify market needs and support setting up joint development products with customers.
  • Participate in a global industry team (Civil Engineering)
