Mustard Seed Christian Childcare is a not-for-profit provider of early childhood education and care, looking to honour and serve Jesus. We partner with churches in the mission of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ by being an outreach ministry, and also providing high quality childcare programs in a Christian environment. We run preschools, long day cares and outside of school hours care.
We are seeking a committed Christian to join our team at Mustard Seed Christian Childcare and work part time in the role of Business Manager. This role is a strategic forward looking role, involving budgeting, financial reporting, financial modelling, stakeholder communication, and leadership in the administrative aspects of the business.
We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, experienced, and excited about the idea of joining this new venture.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, proven track record, experience with MS office suite, an understanding of payroll (or a willingness to learn), and a desire to serve our Lord Jesus.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have business qualifications; a track record of achievements; the ability to budget, plan ahead and manage financial aspects of a business; a current working with children check.
ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS:
It might be an advantage if you have understanding around tax regulations as they relate to the not-for-profit area; prior experience in leading teams; a role where you have previous experience improving business processes; familiarity with a range of software such as XERO, OWNA;
