REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic Understanding of Document Management, including using EXL, Word, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office platforms.
  • Basic Understanding of Effective Communication with internal partners, including strong written skills.
  • Basic Understanding of managing multiple priorities, including priorities with varying deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1+ years experience in Business office setting- Financial or Insurance industry a plus
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce
  • Preferred experience with Group Employee Benefits (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity)

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the turnaround times on RFP Inventory assignments
  • Processing requests from distribution partners and internal stakeholders and partnering with Underwriting to be sure the case is set up correctly
  • Continuing to learn product and process knowledge for self-development and future advancement
  • Identifying reasons for non-standard processing of RFPs
  • Creating quote cards and proposals for a portion of groups after the RFP intake process
  • Working with Underwriting to edit proposals
  • Releasing proposals for a portion of groups to sales executives
  • Working with AI to improve it’s accuracy and function by providing feedback and suggestions
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    The total targeted compensation range for this position is $39,000 - $50,000. Total compensation varies based on skills, experience, geographical location and other factors.
