The Business Operations Manager within Workplace Experience + Law Enforcement Group is responsible for a team that supports multiple complex operational areas. The ideal candidate for this role is a proven people leader with experience influencing multiple departments across an organization, is an excellent communicator, sets a high bar for themself, and is adept at developing and coaching talent.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the successful development and administration of the Group’s budget, compensation, contract and procurement administration
  • Responsible for managing the Group’s information management and business continuity programs
  • Responsible for managing communications and ensuring alignment with the Group and Bank’s strategy
  • Oversee the workforce management program and ensure practices are implemented and followed to ensure effective hiring across the Group
  • Serve as an advisor to the leadership team and help identify, develop, and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals
  • Work with stakeholders across the Group to determine priorities, challenges, and process improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement new and innovative processes to support the Group
  • Develop and implement processes and policies to support the Group and achieve business goals
  • Lead, coach, motivate and develop a diverse team of professionals by actively supporting ongoing in-role development and career conversations to reach their full potential
  • Connect team members to Bank and Group strategy; ensure team goals and objectives align with Bank and group strategy
  • Build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in an organization as well as external vendors and service providers
  • Embrace and execute change through frequent communication to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to functional areas of responsibility or Business Management; Master’s degree desirable
  • 5+ years of experience in successfully managing and leading teams
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Possess understanding of business strategy and finance business practices including expense and capital forecasting and financial planning
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical and project management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
  • Strong problem solving and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Base Salary Range: Min: $126,300.00 - Mid: $163,900.00 - Max: $201,600.00 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
