Who were looking for
Home Instead's Mayo office is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our team. This key role will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Regional Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Home Care sector and its business dynamics, along with prior experience in the Home, Nursing, or Healthcare sector.
We are looking for someone with excellent people management skills and a strong commercial acumen in the Home Care industry to help drive our success.
What you
ll do
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Scheduling, HR, Training, and Admin functions.
- Lead weekly team meetings and manage action points.
- Collaborate with Scheduling and Client Care teams to ensure excellent service.
- Handle escalations from Scheduling and assist with care management as needed.
- Support new business development and client activation, ensuring efficient onboarding.
- Monitor team workloads, ensuring fair distribution and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with clients and a team of 120± caregivers.
- Ensure staff training and manage holidays and workloads within your team.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, brand, and ISO audits.
- Support client care and deal with escalations, complaints, and emergencies.
- Oversee new staff onboarding, training, and induction.
- Maintain compliance with legal and internal HR policies.
- Manage PPE, HR, and support office operations.
