Description:
Job Introduction
At Get Set UK, we go beyond the usual recruitment approach – we’re here to create real change by connecting job seekers with sustainable, rewarding employment. Now, as we celebrate 15 years of transforming lives, we’re looking for a driven Business Partnerships Manager to help us expand our impact. If you’re from a recruitment or sales background, this is your chance to use your skills to drive success, not just for business, but for people.
About the Role:
This isn’t a desk-bound role – we want proactive consultants who are ready to be out in the field, meeting with employers and creating opportunities that align with both our clients’ potential and employer needs. Your core mission? To develop relationships, meet ambitious targets, and support our customers on their journey to long-term employment.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Employer Outreach & Engagement: You’ll actively reach out to employers through cold and warm calling, visits, and events, building and sustaining partnerships to place our job seekers in roles that matter.
- Client Site Visits: Be on the move, engaging with new and existing employer partners on-site to understand their recruitment needs and present tailored solutions.
- Solution-Driven Recruitment: Match our clients to roles, align candidates’ skills with employers’ needs, and craft recruitment pathways that drive sustainable outcomes.
- Collaboration & Workshop Leadership: Work closely with Employment Advisors, lead workshops, and provide interview support, ensuring clients are prepared and confident to succeed.
- In-Work Support: Check in with employers and clients post-placement, offering support and advice to foster long-term retention and success.
- Market Intelligence & Networking: Leverage insights on the local job market to identify new opportunities, attending events and fostering connections with Job Centres, Local Authorities, and community stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For:
We want ambitious, resilient individuals with proven sales or recruitment experience who:
- Love the Challenge: You thrive on hitting targets, building partnerships, and achieving results that make a difference.
- Are Field-Ready: You prefer meeting clients on-site to understand their needs first hand and create solutions that work. Office-bound roles don’t interest you.
- Bring Commitment & Focus: If you’re looking for a short-term role, this isn’t for you.. We’re seeking those ready to stay and make an impact.
- Have Strong Interpersonal Skills: Confident, personable, and adaptable, you’re comfortable speaking to employers at all levels and guiding clients through the job search process.
