The Opportunity:
As a Business Performance Analyst, you’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, GMs, Regional Managers, and Site Operations to analyse data and uncover valuable insights that drive strategic decisions. Your role will involve evaluating financial and operational performance, preparing insightful reports and visualisations, and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
You’ll also play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring our organisation remains competitive and agile. A day in the life of a Business Performance Analyst at Toll Group:

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, GMs, Regional Managers, and Site Operations to provide analytical support and strategic insights.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collect, analyse, and interpret data from diverse sources to uncover trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities across financial and operational metrics.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess and evaluate the financial and operational performance of business units, key clients, and initiatives against established KPIs and benchmarks to identify areas for growth and optimization.
  • Insightful Reporting and Visualisation: Prepare high-quality reports and visual presentations that effectively communicate business performance insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Work cross-functionally to identify and address process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, supporting the execution of overall commercial and finance strategies.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Utilise market trends and historical data to develop accurate forecasts, budgets, and projections, facilitating strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data collection methods, reporting tools, and analytical techniques, ensuring the organization remains agile and competitive in its business analysis practices.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Logical problem-solving ability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling proficiency.
  • Sound accounting knowledge and internal controls expertise.
  • Excellent analytical capability and commercial acumen.
  • Industry experience in Oil and Gas / Logistics.
