If you do, you will shape, deploy and commission a diverse range of qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques with your team. Enabling the council and its services to develop strategy and policy to deliver the outcomes of Huntingdonshire Futures (the Place Strategy for Huntingdonshire) and our Corporate Plan.
You will ensure actions are rooted in evidence and result in positive change. Leading the performance and insight team, you will also develop and present data and insight at corporate and service level, that measures and demonstrates delivery and impact.

Responsibilities:

Are you a driven, analytical and creative thinker? Do you have strong numerical skills, able to interpret and inspire others to see the insight from data. Have you worked collaboratively to apply these skills in the private, public or charity sector?
We are looking for a Performance and Insights professional who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced and ambitious council. If you are creative with data, love a challenge and are a great multi-tasker, we want to hear from you.
You will:
Be accountable for leading a continuously improving approach to performance management and reporting of performance indicators, corporate actions and major projects (internal and external to the council). This will include any future benchmarking or comparative data required by the government, establishing a benchmarking and unit cost framework.
Develop and provide an enterprising service - adaptable and dynamic supporting services and major projects through insight, data and performance information to ensure that the council continues to develop its data maturity so decisions and actions are driven or supported by data. You will also work with a range of internal and external partners, using data and insight to influence their own services and activities within Huntingdonshire.
Be a respectful team player, able to provide expert advice relating to data, insight and analysis to aid in the shaping and development of policy and strategy, and to inform decision-making at various levels, demonstrating and interpreting data and outputs.
Working closely with the Project Management Office and Transformation teams across the organisation, you will help reshape and improve future services to meet the needs of our district, ensuring they are supported with a set of contextual measures that encourage planning for the future.
