We are currently looking for a Business Process Analyst and Knowledge Manager to in-depth analyse and document the business processes from an IT operations perspective as well as to manage the knowledge around our first and second level support activities. This includes business continuity and service level requirements as well as detailed information on IT operations. To be a perfect fit you have a deep experience in business process analysis, technical and process documentation, IT infrastructure, and common IT systems prevalent in European commodity trading.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Manage a central documentation hub, integrate diverse data sources, design data processes and tooling, and ensure data quality and timeliness.
- Document and map business processes, workflows, and service level requirements for IT-supported processes.
- Analyze business and IT service performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement Workshops, identify performance gaps, and document solutions.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to understand needs, validate processes, and present findings and recommendations.
- Provide accurate and timely data to IT teams and business users to support efficient operations and informed decision-making.

If you have proven experience in the following domains, we should get to know each other:
- Business and IT Expertise: deep understanding of business processes, IT services, and data analysis. Knowledge about energy trading business processes is a plus.
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: facilitate workshops, analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Communication and Presentation: clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Process Design and Optimization: design, document, and optimize business processes, value streams, and service level requirements.
- Data Management and Governance: ensure data quality, integration, and governance for accurate decision-making.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate processes, and implement solutions.
- Language Skills: English and German mandatory, other main European languages is a plus.

For our Business IT First Level Support we require a detailed understanding of the business processes – with our Value Stream Analysis we have a method to log and provide this information. Also, we need to manage the large amount of data and knowledge needed for our 24/7 first and second level support. Our Root Cause Analysis ensures we avoid repeating operational issues and errors.
The team works remotely most of the time, but we meet regularly at our offices in Karlsruhe, Germany. Paired with our flexible working times and an agile delivery culture, this ensures you work where and when it suits you best.
