This role is located in Wroclaw with a possibility to work in hybrid model 4 days from home.
Your role:
In this position you will be responsible for transferring and loading high-quality data into applications and data models within their designated area. This role involves maintaining up-to-date structures and architectures of data models from both business and IT perspectives, specifically in the areas of reporting and financial planning. Key tasks include managing data flow interfaces and processes, data structures (Metadata and Master Data), mappings, access rights, rules, and computational and business logic.
The specialist will actively participate in planning processes for dedicated applications such as the new SAP Analytics Cloud and the existing TM1 system. They will provide data analysis and reporting solutions on new BI platforms and regularly update processes, data models, and data structures. Additionally, the role requires automating processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives within SAC, working with business stakeholders to identify gaps, prioritize requirements, and address issues in the SAC FP&A processes.
Key responsibilities also include handling data reloading processes between systems, reconciling data between source and target systems, developing useful check sheets, and fixing detected errors in processes. The specialist will prepare processes and data models for required changes, such as fiscal year shifts, and perform cause-and-effect analysis for detected inconsistencies in data transfers.
The role involves coordinating activities related to changes in data models and applications, including registering requests, planning resources, and coordinating change implementation processes. The specialist will also be responsible for new IT implementations for operational support, organizing meetings with clients and developers, managing operational documentation, resource planning, and responding to escalations and problem-solving.
Furthermore, the Data Model and Reporting Specialist will communicate changes affecting other systems and operations, and train other members of the Data & Apps for Finance Team.

Who you are:

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience within FP&A.
  • Proven experience in data modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and TM1 would be an strong advantage.
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data flow interfaces, processes, and data structures (Metadata and Master Data) would be ideal.
  • Experience with automating processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including cause-and-effect analysis and data mining.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and developers.
  • Strong project management skills, including resource planning and change implementation coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to respond to escalations and effectively solve reported problems.
