JOB DESCRIPTION:

When you join team Caterpillar as a Business Process Analyst you will be joining a team responsible for providing guidance on the machine order management process as it adapts and grows into the digital age. The role is expected to adapt as new platforms are launched and provide support for all current machine order management systems and any new Modern Order Management solutions such as SAP. The position will work closely with business partners in Information Technology, tax, accounting, order management, transportation, manufacturing facilities, Product Distribution Center, Industries, and Product Groups to learn and advise on the order management process. This skillset of the role will continue to develop as we advance the order transformation journey. The candidate is expected to optimize current processes with modern digital tools.

  • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
  • Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
  • Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Explains the key concepts, techniques and steps involved in the advanced business analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in solution delivery and work processes using modern digital technology and leveraging lean thinking. This includes learning and training users on new digital platforms and tools.
  • Provide support for dealer invoicing questions, inter-company invoicing adjustments, certificates of origin, compliance, and orders systems issues across multiple countries and cultures in EAME.
  • Approve EAME dealer orders and create all EAME debits and credits to dealers.
  • Own, optimize and manage the insurance claims process and short ship claims;
  • Administer service fee claims for non-European territories.
  • Deliver superior Customer Support of all machine order management systems.
  • Lead change management activities, including training, documentation, process flows, and defining roles and responsibilities.
