Description:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • At least eight plus (8+) years of IT and business experience in business process engineering.
  • At least 5 years in a combination of the following: business process improvement, process analysis and design, data analysis and interpretation, business operations, and process management.
  • Specific experience with successful engagements within a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and processes.
  • Experience with business process management software and tools.
  • Prior domain industry experience at a state or federal government agency is preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of state government policies and practices is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and develop solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Design and implement streamlined processes, procedures, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize industry best practices and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop clear documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and implementation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate change management efforts and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics to track improvements and identify further optimization opportunities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to project teams throughout the process improvement lifecycle.
