Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Business Program Director to oversee the operations and financial management of a multi-site after-school program serving families in Matteson, IL. This role requires expertise in financial oversight, family billing, state subsidy processing, facility management, and compliance with Illinois education and childcare policies. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Procare software, Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) certificates, and food program administration.
The Business Program Director will work closely with school districts (Matteson SD 162 & 163), state agencies, and families to ensure a high-quality after-school experience while maintaining efficient operations, compliance, and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Billing

  • Oversee and manage family billing, collections, and subsidy processing.
  • Maintain accurate CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program) certificates and ensure families submit the necessary documentation.
  • Process subsidy applications, verify eligibility, and track payments from the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS).
  • Generate invoices, track outstanding balances, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal funding guidelines for after-school programs.
