Description:

Business Readiness Consultant – Salary Circa £34,000.
You will lead Business Readiness activity supporting projects from across the Life Portfolio to ensure a safe delivery into our operational business teams. The role will give you great exposure to all areas of change and the wider life business. Being part of a medium sized team, you will get the opportunity to focus on key areas of your professional development with access to both internal and external courses to achieve your personal goals.

A bit about the job:

  • Ensuring Business Readiness into the Operation, covering service continuity, adoption, embedding, quality, and engagement.
  • Execution of Business Readiness methodology to ensure all change has the desired outcome to the operation.
  • Liaison between the Operational Change team, project teams, Operational leadership within Customer Services and wider business stakeholders to ensure repeated safe delivery of change.
  • Measurable customer outcomes demonstrating positive impact to customer value through alignment to Customer Principles
  • Ensure decisions are made using quantifiable data wherever possible, including the quantification of benefits.

Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in, Sheffield, York or Norwich.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Understanding of the UKL regulatory, Legal and business risk implications to ensure transformation activity and outcomes to support this.
  • Broad Understanding of Financial Services and familiarity with best corporate practices and leading-edge developments.
  • Commercial awareness and analytical skills plus Risk and issue management skills.
  • Record of successful delivery in a complex business environment.
  • Risk and issue management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – both internally and externally across all levels.

  • Salary circa £34,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
