Position Overview
Provide cross functional analysis and design powerful visualizations to support our stakeholders in making strategic decisions.
Develop standards and tools to enhance automation of reports and connections to/from them.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design, create, implement, and maintain reporting and tools by:
- Coordinating with other data analyst/data scientist/IT teams to lead common projects and drive best practice solutions that are aligned company wide
- Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing data to identify areas of improvements, risks, and business changes
- Maintaining databases and tools, and performing updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Developing new tools to continuously improve process efficiency and integrate new business requirements
- Collecting cross-functional analysis & reporting needs, department tools and opportunities for standardization and automation of processes.
- Designing, producing, enhancing reports, dashboards and tools for the Integrated Business Planning function including Inventory Management
- Helping to drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports
- Providing suggestions based on findings that might be utilized to inform business strategies
- Providing an on-going presence ‘on the ground’ to help end users leverage the tools and available training
- Being the first “line of support” when an issue arises
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
Basic Qualifications
- Education level: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Strong technical and analytical skills. Aptitude for problem solving and for turning data inputs into relevant information
- High degree of computer literacy, especially MS Excel and VBA
- Strong SQL and SAP BI skills are highly desirable
- Power Query, DataIku, MS Azure, MS Access, Python would be a strong plus
