JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Risk Professional provides case management of high-profile customer complaints regarding loans for mortgage and consumer cases to research. We are seeking an individual with a strong attention to detail as the individual will break down the allegations for the business line and compile all information to ensure everything can be clearly interpreted for accuracy regarding for a formal response to the customer. Ideally candidates should have mortgage and/or consumer case experience for loans with researching and gathering data. The Business Risk Professional will partner with their assigned Line of Business, CBBO, Compliance, Executive Communications, Legal, and other areas to research further information, maintain, and interpret the research to compile what occurred on the complaint received. We are seeking someone with strong communication and time management as they will interact with several areas and will need to complete customer requests timely and accurately with varying regulatory deadlines. May actively identify, respond and/or escalate risks as appropriate.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days at one of the following locations:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of applicable experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Basic understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
• Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
• Ability to build and manage a team of Business Risk professionals who have credibility and work directly with business line management, as appropriate
• Basic knowledge of Business Risk competencies
• Strong process facilitation and project management skills
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
• Proficient computer navigation skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations
