Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Services Coordinator, with a specific focus on moves, adds, and changes. As the Business Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of the move process, conference room set ups, ensuring a seamless transition for our clients. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of moves, adds, and changes processes and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs., or up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoops, kneel, crouch, and reach for an extended period.
  • Ability to bend at waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action.
  • Good hand/eye/foot coordination required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant prior customer service experience

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all furniture moves, adds, and changes requests for clients, ensuring efficient execution and minimal disruption to their operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including conference center coordinators, project management, facilities, IT, and vendors, to facilitate and execute move requests.
  • Conduct post-move evaluations and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up actions.
  • Move furniture within the building (file cabinets, equipment, printers, etc.)
  • Handles set-up, tear-down, refreshing and resetting of conference rooms (tables, chairs, flipcharts, and whiteboards) in all conference rooms on campus.
  • Works closely with Coordinators to determine the client’s needs, set up and/or the support during events.
  • Daily conference room checks, (replenish conference room supplies as needed in each room, create work order for any light outage, stains on carpet or walls, anything that need to be repaired).
  • Create work orders for items that need to be repaired and close out work orders that are assigned to you.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.
