About the role

The Business Solutions and Logistics Team Lead will be supporting and enable the delivery of our Performance Promise within own area (logistics); critical support to the STC Customer Experience JM to monitor KPI performance, ensure the delivery of efficiency programmes and enable the smooth and coherent operation of the overall department by handling the GB Logistics team leading and implementing any market driven initiatives as an SME that:

  • bring efficiency, cost-savings;
  • drive sales increase and customer satisfaction;
  • mitigate cash risks;
  • and improve CFR (case fill rate).
  • Act as the key operational support to the GB Customer Experience JM, supervising STC KPI performance and seeing opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Build brilliant working relationships within the Tower support their area
  • Act as first customer concern point for team members for day to day issues
  • Act as first customer concern point for market partners in terms of their initiatives
  • Support key efficiency and process improvement workstreams delegated by GB Customer Experience JM
  • Support the GB Customer Experience JM on day to day market partner engagement. Ensure market partner messaging is consistent.
  • Ensure that there is good communication and feedback with ‘enabling’ teams such as STC Customer Experience, Process Excellence, Governance, Financial Controlling, Information Systems and Facilities.
  • Build strong relationship with 3PL, AMS, STC, IMC and Logistics Finance in GBO
  • Prepare input material for the Market Performance Review calls, including KPI performance commentary.
  • Engage with the Sell to Cash Capability Manager to articulate training and learning needs of the team
  • Ensure that we build phenomenal relationships with partners, customers, sales and other logistics functions
  • Ensure that Diageo is considered one of the best Customer Service providers by our customers
  • Hiring, training and constantly developing the right people within their team to build an excellent, hard-working team with a robust succession plan
  • Leading a team of up to 5 logistics advisors to reach the best customer service and TAG survey results
  • Coaching newcomers and ensure knowledge management and retention
  • Act as the back up person for the GB Customer Experience Team Leaders
