Description:

We’re looking for a Business Support Clerk to join their team and provide essential administrative support across departments. Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support, including filing, photocopying, and managing both computerised and manual systems.
- Handle various business support tasks such as cash handling, call handling, data entry, and mail processing.
- Offer a word processing service, creating letters, memos, reports, and presentations as required.
- Utilise basic office IT software and council-specific systems effectively.
- Assist in preparing and distributing statistical, performance, and routine information.
- Support routine business activities related to finance, HR, customer support, and general administration.
- Arrange meetings, take minutes, and maintain schedules as needed.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, assisting internal and external customers via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
- Operate standard office machinery, including binders, laminators, fax machines, photocopiers, and shredders.
- Work independently to meet individual and team goals, prioritising tasks to meet performance standards.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
