An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Commission as Business Support Officer.
The Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Commission (the Commission) is an independent body responsible for managing allegations of parliamentary misconduct involving members of parliament, ministers, and parliamentary secretaries.
The Commission can receive, manage, and resolve allegations of parliamentary misconduct and inappropriate parliamentary workplace behaviour. This includes receiving complaints of bullying, harassment, discrimination, victimisation and occupational violence and aggression.
The Business Support Officer provides business and administrative support to the Commissioners and the broader Commission team. Reporting to the Manager, the Business Support Officer is responsible for general administration, coordination and scheduling, diary and inbox management, financial administration, coordination of recruitment, and other administrative activities.
The role will require a high level of competence in the setup and use of organisational systems (including Microsoft Office as well as recruitment, procurement, information sharing and finance systems). You will also be well-organised with great time management skills and attention to detail.
