About the Role
Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic Business Support Officer to join our team at King’s. You’ll play a crucial role in providing exceptional executive and business support, ensuring that our leadership can drive institutional strategy. A key and trusted colleague in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, you’ll be at the heart of operations, coordinating meetings and managing tasks with across finance, human resources, space, and sustainability.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About the Role
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative and/or executive support role.
- Excellent IT skills, covering standard Microsoft Office packages, SharePoint and similar platforms, and willingness to advance these skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a wide variety of people in a professional and assured manner.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a busy work environment.
- Experience of committee support and minute taking.
- Ability to work confidently and proactively across organisational boundaries.
Desirable criteria
- Experience in a higher education environment.
- Knowledge of the requirements of a committee support function, effective clerking and governance.
- Able to generate new ideas and support change management.
