Description:

The Business Support Officer will work as part of the Business Delivery team to deliver an efficient business management support service to the People and Communities Division.
Culture and values are important to our ways of working in the division, including diversity and inclusion, involvement and co-production, personal development and accountability. Team members work together to embed those values into the new team’s ways of working.
Business Support Officers will undertake day-to-day business and administrative tasks and provide support for projects, programmes and workstreams across the division.
All postholders will work with teams across the division but may also be assigned to support individual teams on long-term pieces of work, as the needs of the teams change.
The Business Delivery team enables the Division to deliver its purpose and functions. Working with specialists and project managers within teams, the integrated support team will:
Lead planning, reporting and forecasting processes;
Support risk management, corporate governance and business continuity planning;
Align resources, networks and channels to maximise impact and efficiency;
Support internal communication and deliver effective and timely business and administrative support.
The NHS England board have set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all, which will inform the detailed design work and we will achieve this purpose by:
Enabling local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients and reduce health inequalities.
Making the NHS a great place to work, where our people can make a difference and achieve their potential.
Working collaboratively to ensure our healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to deliver accessible, compassionate care
Optimising the use of digital technology, research, and innovation
Delivering value for money.
