Responsibilities:

Are you a passionate, self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills? Join our team and support our field crews working on the Energy Queensland Network as a Business Support Officer. Based in our Brisbane office, you will play a pivotal role in our diverse operations and provide crucial administrative support across commercial, operational, and financial aspects. Reporting directly to the Queensland State Manager, this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and rewarding team.

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute the raising invoices, progress claims and purchase orders.
  • Distribution of work calendars and tracking of work in accordance with the program.
  • Compiling reports, managing timesheets and compiling work packages when required.
  • Manage the collection of timesheets, submit payroll data, and control payroll documents.
  • Liaise with critical internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, Downer employees, and the general public.
