The Business Support Specialist will be able to identify, analyze, recommend, and implement solutions to problems in administrative procedures. Primary functions of this role will be the ability to maintain a professional reception area while answering phones, directing incoming calls, greeting visitors and assisting the executive team.
REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferred applicants will have continued education in the form of a business, clerical or administrative focus.
- One to three years’ related experience in data entry, customer service or administrative roles recommended.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software platforms quickly and naturally.
- Proven high attention to detail, self-driven and result oriented performer.
- Capable of thriving in a team environment with instinct to serve others.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive business and administrative support to the defined members of the Executive Team.
- Greet and welcome all visitors.
- Keep the lobby neat and organized.
- Communicate with a wide variety of personnel.
- Work on tasks from multiple projects in parallel.
- Assist with inventory check-in.
- Automate processes and procedures.
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events.
- Compile, visualize, and report information and data.
- Serve as the main point of contact for travel management.
- Create, draft and/or proof outgoing correspondence, documents, presentations, or information and communicate to the appropriate internal and/or external parties involved.
- All other duties as assigned by supervision.
