Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Enrolment Business System Coordinator applies extensive business and contact knowledge to support the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Health Systems enrolment data. The position is involved with both long-term (multi-year) and short-term projects. The position delivers support to the enrolment system by providing developer and user business and systems support, advice and guidance in operations, data integrity and maintenance of the enrolment systems. The work requires high accuracy as personal enrolment information is reviewed, updated, and/or verified frequently. Frequent collaboration with other specialized units, both Business Operations and IMIT, necessitates exceptional interpersonal skills and communication.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or completed post-secondary coursework in business or public administration, computer technology, or systems administration.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business/production role in a medium to large corporate or government organization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to operate standard office equipment
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of on-line computer-based health programs, services and systems would be an asset
- Advanced knowledge of HIBC systems of record preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and solve various technological problems

- Strong documentation skill
Responsibilities:
Respond to queries, to provide support for system users of HIBC enrolment applications.
- Provide post-implementation support for projects and system upgrades to ensure changes meet Operations workflows and procedures.
- Troubleshoot, document, and resolve system issues and queries for a diverse group of interested parties
- Escalate issues to the appropriate IT area when required and collaborate to resolve end-user requests in a timely manner
- Update database and systems support tables
- Analyze data errors and determine appropriate solution; correct or escalate to have data corrected; document solution and actions taken.
- Track all requests within a work and time tracking management system.
Understand and comply to PBC Solutions, legislated and client policies and work procedures accurately
- Comply to all regulations, policies, and procedures, with minimal intervention
- Learn new policies, procedures, and computer applications within designated timelines
- Escalate work that is beyond the level you are assigned
- Obtain required approvals from designated personnel
- Document notes and actions, in our systems, that are clear, objective, and useful to others
- Utilize designated channels and systems for making recommendations, communicating, reporting, etc.
- Report non-compliance of policies and procedures, regardless of the cause
Manage your interactions with callers, clients, and colleagues respectfully, collaboratively, and professionally to contribute to a harmonious, productive work environment
- Receive and action or escalate enrolment service desk tickets
- Validate production data accuracy
- Validate successful migration of changes to production environment
- Communicate with interested parties as deemed appropriate
- Review middleware messages for ICBC and enrolment content relevant to enrolment data integrity
- Account for perceived anomalies in enrolment data
- Alert appropriate staff to data anomalies
- Review and close or renew tickets for data fix scenarios
- Explain the origin and update sequences of all data displayed in all RAPID UIs. Locate source data if required. Locate supporting business process rule or instructional rule if required.
- Construct and transmit manual RMS messages on request
- Other duties as assigned
