Description:

The Red Hat IT Business Enterprise & Application Delivery team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst intern to join our worldwide organization in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will join the team that is responsible for designing and supporting Red Hat’s Order to Revenue value stream.
You’ll have a great opportunity to work in a team of excellent systems analysts & engineers with a broad range of technologies and contribute to a vibrant community while ensuring the success of our customers.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed functional specifications for the Order To Revenue value stream
  • Perform functional setups, configurations
  • Execute test cases, test scripts and assist with preparing test plans supporting business requirements
  • Define and document business requirements and perform gap analysis.
  • Provide systems analysis and functional analysis across various financial applications ( Oracle, Revstream etc )
  • Assist and contribute to end user testing and training
  • Provide functional validation and support.
  • Demonstrate good business judgment when evaluating requirements; assess the impact of potential changes and solutions to mitigate negative outcomes
  • Create and maintain process flow documentation and assistance with user training

Required Skills

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Republic of Ireland during the full duration of the internship and must be able to work full time from June till December 2025
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English language proficiency
  • Detailed and concise written communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in facilitating meetings, webinars, and conference calls
  • Ability to work in a global team and willing to work on tight timelines and contribute when required
  • Basic SQL knowledge would be an advantage
  • Show excellent, proactive written and verbal communication skills with business and IT associates
  • Genuine customer focus and understanding that their success is your success
  • Ability to apply skills and knowledge to track down solutions to customer problems
  • Belief in Open Source principles
