THE ROLE:
Neo Financial is looking for a full-time Business Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure Team in Calgary, AB. This would be an excellent role for a business analyst or software developer looking to move into Business Analysis or Technical Product Management. The team is made up of highly innovative visionaries who stop at nothing to develop cutting-edge tech. Make your mark with transformative tech, alongside some of Canada’s most successful developers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Lead the charge in creating our prioritized Infrastructure roadmap and backlog, making sure we always know what’s coming next to meet our business objectives.
- Write effective user stories by gathering and articulating complex requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product stack from technical, operations, business and finance perspectives, and use the understanding to bring high-impact opportunities to the platform product roadmap.
- Analyze build vs buy options. Collaborate with vendors (often owning and driving the relationship) and partners to develop integration and deployment plans.
- Bring stakeholders together to ensure that non-functional requirements (scalability, security, reliability) are being met now and in the future.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies to make sure the team knows what they’re doing and why.
- Analyze data, troubleshoot problems, build documents and participate in quality assurance to ensure the success of our Infrastructure.
- Work in the trenches with software developers to ensure we’re building the right things to a high standard.
