TFS currently has an exciting permanent opportunity as a Business Systems Analyst. This role resides in our Markham Head Office.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze and document requirements, processes, workflows on a variety of applications projects.
  • Provide business/functional support on existing applications maximize performance and support their development.
  • Document (Functional & technical) on all job-related applications and processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure developed functionality meets business requirements
  • Support systems functionality with on-call support.
  • Perform testing and evaluation of all developed applications.
  • Contribute to implementing best-practices and improvements to processes used by the Systems team.
  • Other related functions/accountabilities as assigned.

What you bring:

  • 4 year University Degree in IT (Preferred).
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry).
  • Energetic and motivated to learn new technologies
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Detail oriented in maintaining applications documentation.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication
  • Strong contributor that works well with others and works independently with little direct supervision or review
  • Strong ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands
  • Willing to initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Clear understanding of Change Management processes
  • Sound understanding in Project Management methodology and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include day, evening, weekend and overtime hours.
