Description:
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
VG&Media has embarked on a transformation journey to reimagine our digital interfaces, customer collaboration models, and service delivery approaches with a user-centric design. This journey requires rethinking how we provide tools and technology to our strong and diverse talent, while also adhering to the Firm’s guidelines.
For this, we are expanding our global VG&Media Business Technology Center of Excellence, with team members across AsiaX, Europe, and the Americas and we are hiring a team member in our Lisbon location.
In addition to interacting with VG&Media colleagues in various roles (production, design, transformation, COEs, leadership) on topics concerning their technology and tooling needs, you will also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues in other Firm functions like T&D, InfoSEC, Legal, Procurement & Vendor Management (Optimize).
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate complex scenarios effectively & succinctly, both verbally and in writing, in English
- Curiosity and past exposure to explore hard- and software trends relevant for VG&Media (design, motion graphics, high performance computing & collaboration)
- Interest in pursuing new skills through self-learning in areas like process automation, reporting, or scripting
Responsibilities:
You will work with colleagues in AsiaX, Europe, and the Americas to ensure VG&Media colleagues are provisioned with the appropriate hard- and software toolkit and products which are in compliance with Firm IT security guidelines, and are managed with respect to licenses, budget, and contractual obligations.
You will help the Business Technology team to schedule cross-regional milestone meetings, to document meeting discussions, and to create reports to further mature and focus on day-to-day activities as well as maintain a portfolio of associated applications along the media catalog and manage the relationship internally (within VG&Media and other Firm functions) and with vendors for products that are VG&Media specific.
You will support the global VG&Media community in their tooling needs and work towards access and usage of products, adhering to business processes and budget requirements).
You will articulate ideas for process improvements, new products, or features you consider beneficial for our VG&Media teams and build relationships within Business Technology and beyond by actively participating on platforms you are invited to. You’ll actively contribute to business technology projects while working in squad configurations and taking on tasks, aligning with stakeholders, documenting project progress and achievements along the function’s business goals and defined OKRs.
