We are currently seeking a Business Transformation Architect to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
Job Description:
How You’ll Help Us:
We are looking for a Business Transformation Architect with 10+ years experience. You will help us by supporting the modernization of our client’s business intake tracking system and ITSM.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Analyze and develop business “critical success factors”;
Analysis and development of architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping and training
Lead other functional staff to define business strategy and processes in support of transformation and change management activities;
Participate in change impact analysis and change management activities;
Participate in organizational realignment (job redesign organizational restructuring); and
Coordinate development of training and coordination with other stakeholders.
Create presentations and present to various stakeholders, and facilitate meetings and discussions.

Minimum experience in the resource category.
Must have experience as a Business Transformation Architect including:
a minimum of ten (10) years of cumulative experience, within the twelve (12) years preceding the issuance date of this TA, working as a Business Transformation Architect (as defined below in M1 b); and that within that timeframe of experience, the resource has experience performing tasks similar to those listed in section Tasks/Responsibilities for a minimum of six cumulative months of experience per task.
The required experience can be demonstrated over one or more Customer Reference Projects.

Secret Clearance issued by PWGSC-CISD (file number and expiry date must be provided.)

Additional Technical Qualifications.
Must demonstrate a minimum of one year of cumulative experience in each of the identified requirements as indicated below.
The resource must have experience producing documentation related to the adoption of an ITSM Tool.
The resource must have experience performing the tasks identified in M1 to support specific components or modules of an ITSM Tool, or ITIL processes.
The resource must have experience preparing and delivering presentations to client Management on business transformation plans.
The resource must have experience analyzing, defining and developing the
impact on the departmental business of migrating to a new ITSM Tool.

Demonstrate completion of one of the deliverables listed below while working on a project (up to 5 projects will be accepted). A copy of the completed design deliverable developed must be provided.
The following deliverables will be accepted:
Service Vision and Strategy
Research and/or Service Design Plans
Reports and/or presentations on recommended improvements of the Service
Artefacts resulting from design workshop facilitation
Research Artefacts, or Visualization (Personas, Customer Journey Map, Service Blueprints, Analytics, Usage Reports, Usability Testing, Client feedback report)
Information Architecture (Sitemaps, domain models)
Prototypes (Simulations, Wireframes, interactive prototypes, Service Staging)
Service Design Deliverables (SWOT analysis, User journeys, Process Diagrams, Service Blueprints, Channel Strategy, Story Boards, Service Staging, Process Map, Organizational Structure)

Demonstrate having worked on a minimum of two (2) projects in the last five (5) years:
Guiding and leading people, process and organizational change by meeting with a variety* of project stakeholders to help build awareness and secure buy-in for cross-organization initiatives and release readiness

Working with domain architects (information, data, application) and solution architects to align technical design decisions with business needs and goals

• Variety is defined as at least 3 different stakeholder groups(internal and/or external)

Note: To qualify, a project must have a minimum duration of six (6) months

Demonstrate experience within the last ten (10) years supporting initiatives by:
Assessing transformation initiative impacts on job roles and organization structures;
Making recommendations as to funding and budgeting.
Note: Provide a list of qualifying projects that had a minimum duration of six (6) months.

One of the following certifications:
ITIL v3/2011 Expert in IT Service Management certificate
ITIL v3/2011 Intermediate certificate (Service Lifecycle or Service Capability)
Any certification at v4 level
Must provide proof of certification.

Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience, in the last 10 years, working for a Federal or Provincial Government Department/Agency.

Demonstrate experience, within the last 5 years, utilizing GCdocs (the GC’s preferred Electronic Document and Records Management Solution)

Demonstrate experience working with an ITSM tool

Demonstrate experience working with BMC software/tools/ applications/solutions/products
