About
We are looking for a Business Transformation Associate - Finance to support the optimization, standardization, and digital transformation of financial processes within the organization. This role will be key in evaluating and improving functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, and Accounting, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. As part of the Digital Transformation team, this position will work closely with Finance, IT, and other strategic areas to modernize financial management through automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to assess financial processes.
- Identify key processes in Finance, Treasury, Controllership, and Collections and their dependencies.
- Prioritize processes based on impact and business needs.
- Define critical paths for key financial functions.
- Develop an operational plan for intra-month activities, considering workload and policies.
- Maintain a month-end closing calendar to ensure efficiency.
- Standardize processes across finance functions, aligning with best practices.
- Propose improvements in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Collections.
- Optimize reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Assist the Collections team in optimizing recovery strategies and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Improve cash flow management through automation tools and forecasting.
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for decision-making.
- Use data analytics to identify process improvements and measure success.
- Collaborate with IT teams to digitize financial processes, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Treasury, and Collections.
- Support automation initiatives for improved efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Advanced English Proficiency
- 5 -8 years of experience
- Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies based on those insights.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
