Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Regional Head Latin America for CSL Vifor, as the Business Unit Head for CSL Vifor in Chile, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding annual financial objectives for Chile. You will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, professional, and ethical standards. You will implement sound strategies and tactics to ensure business growth, and you will gather high quality information and market insights via network. You will align effectively with HQ on goals and activities, and you will build a strong local team (capabilities and high performance) to successfully launch and commercialize CSL Vifor products.
This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in driving business growth in local pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team is required.
  • University degree in Business Management or Life Science specialty is required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both in oral and in written communications is required.
  • Proven and demonstrated entrepreneurial, commercial and team management experience.
  • Self-directed executive: Ability to work well with limited supervision and with limited resources and plans, prepares and executes professionally.
  • Ability to work with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, coupled with operational excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi task, and be highly organized.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to travel between 20 - 30% of the time

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver agreed financial targets and P&L.
  • Ensure compliance adherence with legal, regulatory, professional, and ethical standards.
  • Establish strategic directions for the team and ensure execution to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Lead and develop strong leadership team through coaching and leading by example.
  • Identify new business and revenue opportunities to secure profitable growth.
  • Manage relationships to key stakeholders and CSL Behring Chile team.
  • Work cross functionally with HQ functions as well as local enabling functions.
  • Establish direction: Develop the vision and strategies to achieve the identified vision, set and communicate long term direction of the Company and ensure that the short term goals, objectives and tasks are aligned and adequately prioritized.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the local team and work closely with HR in talent management and development.
  • Identify business and revenue opportunities with regards to new and existing businesses from prospective and current customers to meet sales objectives and generate profitable revenue and market share growth and improve strategic positioning for future business successes.
  • Engage, drive, develop, motivate and manage relationships with different functions and cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure successful business execution.
  • Instill a culture of high performance, quality, ownership, and accountability within the workplace.
  • Develop a customer and patient focus mindset in the team.
