Butcher (Experienced)

Hill Street Longford are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our in-house butchery team in our wonderful store.
You’ll have a trade certificate or relevant experience, and a love of customer service. You will work within a team of qualified butchers and butchery assistants. There are opportunities to develop your career into a department and/or team leadership role.
The role is full time, with flexibility to suit your needs. Store trading hours are highlighted in the work availability section of the application process. You do not need to be available across the full span of hours - your standard roster will be agreed based on operational needs as well as your own. Standard rosters usually include a weekend on/weekend off pattern.
As an experienced butcher, you will understand that this role requires physical fitness and stamina, enabling you to stand for long periods and perform manual handling, bending and lifting/moving of heavy items.

Pay rates are determined by the General Retail Industry Award. The full-time annual salary range is for full-time, level 4 adult, is approx. $59-$66k exclusive of superannuation.
Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts. Please view the full Award for all applicable rates and allowances.
