BUTCHERY ASSISTANT/MEAT PACKER – PART TIME (WEEKEND)

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our friendly and hardworking team in our Butchery area.
Our Strategy is FRESH AS! CHEAP AS! SWEET AS! so we are looking for the right individual who will contribute to our Strategy.

REQUIREMENT OF THE ROLE:

• Ensuring all meat displayed in the case is correctly trayed, wrapped, and labelled.
• Assisting with customer enquiries
• Relevant merchandising standards are maintained at all times.
• Ensuring all meat is clearly labelled and packed correctly for sale.
• Follow Food Safety and Health and Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store.
• Contribute effectively as a team member.
• Aligned with our store values which is RESPECT.
• Able to do heavy lifting up to 15kg.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work in a cold condition (inside the meat area)
• Can do heavy lifting (15 Kg) and physical work.
• Reliable and show enthusiastic in what you do.
• Enjoy working with the public and want to develop your career within the supermarket industry.
• Good team player
• Flexible with working hours and able to work weekend shifts.
• Have the right to work in New Zealand.
