As a Buyer Administrator for our Genie brand, based in Oud Gastel, The Netherlands, you’ll support the team of Buyers by managing administrative tasks that ensure the timely and efficient acquisition of materials and products. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records, monitoring delivery schedules, and contributing to a well-coordinated and streamlined purchasing process. For this temporary position, we’re looking for someone well-organized with a hands-on mentally and eye for detail, to support the team of Buyers for 24-32 hours per week, spread over 4 or 5 days. What you’ll do

  • Collect required documents and confirmations from suppliers, ensuring purchase orders are processed accurately and acknowledged quickly.
  • Initiate and manage internal purchase requisitions to support timely procurement and the availability of necessary materials.
  • Manage and organize communications in the joint inbox and Salesforce, prioritizing and responding to inquiries to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Regularly update and monitor Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETA) for backordered items, keeping stakeholders informed of any changes or delays.
  • Track air and container shipment schedules, providing updates on ETAs to ensure on-time delivery and avoid disruptions.
  • Regularly review and adjust stock levels to keep accurate inventory records, optimizing stock availability and preventing shortages.

What you’ll bring – in order of importance

  • MBO / Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in business administration. A plus is if this experience relates to Supply Chain Planning (supply/demand).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
