Job Description
Exciting opportunities exist and we’re looking to connect with dynamic, customer-centric Buyers to join and add to our very talented Apparel buying team. Fashion forward, commercial, a keen eye for trend and passion for quality, the team build and curate ranges from clothing, right through to accessories/jewellery and sleepwear.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and curating a cohesive and compelling range that resonates with our diverse customer base and delivers to category strategy.
- Working cross-functionally to maximise delivery of commercial plans including sales, margin & inventory
- Maximising opportunities and managing risk to financial plans.
- Working to critical path milestones and managing product life cycle.
- Deep-diving into sales data, analysing trends, and drawing actionable insights. Reporting findings and proposing actions to stakeholders, providing valuable information that shapes our business strategies.
- Working closely with Sourcing and suppliers to meet our customers’ needs
Qualifications
Bringing a combination of commercial acumen, creativity and insightful decision-making, your stakeholder engagement and communication skills will serve as key strengths for seamless collaboration. You can easily point to some notable buying successes and have some great examples of constructing commercially balanced ranges adhering to critical path.

- Previous experience as a Buyer
- Solid category management experience within retail
- Experience/interest in working with licensed products
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience developing branded and own brand categories
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- A customer driven mindset
- The ability to trade utilising promotional activity and advertising to maximum effect
- Decisiveness in a fast-moving environment as well as a resilient and driven nature
