We are now looking for a Buyer, Category Sourcing, Packaging & Services to join our team in Kymi Paper Mill in Kouvola, Finland. This is a one-year fixed-term position.

What you will do

  • Proceed on-time procurement (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Frame Orders, Orders Confirmations, Invoice Workflow, Claims) of required quantities with timely price updates in close collaboration with local stakeholders
  • Work with sourcing categories and execute operative sourcing tasks in SAP/Ariba
  • Material & Vendor master data creation and harmonization
  • Verify invoices, resolve issue cases and claim handling with mill operations
  • Manage supplier relationships, work on their service improvement, make sure the agreed quality changes are applied
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Support effective implementation of new processes and digital solutions
  • Supplier enablement to SAP Business Network, Price Automation (data integration between SAP Ariba and ERP)
  • Perform all tasks in full compliance of safety and environmental regulations, company policies and procedures

Who you are

  • You have SAP knowledge
  • You have good English and Finnish skills. German would be an asset
  • You have experience in purchasing activities (PR-PO process, order confirmation process, invoice workflow process, claims)
  • You have basic knowledge of industrial mechanic, technical drawings (Technical background/understanding)
  • You are skilled in working with Excel and other Microsoft programs
  • You demonstrate great communication skills, open-mindedness and proactiveness
  • You have some understanding of commercial issues
  • You are willing and able to travel
