EDUCATION
- Graduate level or equivalent
- MCIPS or working towards (desirable)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Life Sciences or other highly regulated industry
- Continuous Improvement e.g. Lean
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation and relationship leadership skills
- Commercially astute with a proven track record of leading negotiations to a successful conclusion
- IT skills – high level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office based (Hybrid) with requirements to travel to suppliers and other Thermo Fisher locations.
