Description:
Perform and/or coordinate the planning, scheduling, procurement, and expediting for specific product lines to meet master schedule and customer order requirements. Also maintain inventory levels. Job duties:
- Issue purchase orders for direct and indirect materials.
- Schedule and purchase manufacturing product and assure stock levels.
- Maintain inventory stock.
- Assist in development of procedures and policies to ensure supplier reliability and competitive pricing of raw materials.
- Prepare bid or quote specifications.
- Contact vendors regarding problem orders, certificates, invoices etc.
- Maintain successful relationships with vendors and internal customers to ensure satisfactory procurement of materials.
- Input data into MRP system.
- Maintain safety stock levels to meet demands.
- Work with vendors for needed deliveries.
- Provide necessary planning as requested.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties, as assigned.
