Owen Payne Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of the largest aluminium tray producer in Europe, producing over 1.2 billion products annually.
We are actively seeking an experienced Buyer within the Telford area on a straight to permanent basis.
Our prestigious client supply many major food producers and retail brands, as well as to wholesaler and distributor markets worldwide, including Central & Northern Europe, Asia, North & South America and Australia.

KEY DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE -

• You will have ultimate responsibility to purchase goods, materials and services to ensure company operational needs are met
• You will be responsible for quality and timely delivery of materials to ensure continuous supply
• You will play a lead role in range reviews, supplier negotiations, promotions & pricing.
• You will work with your cross-functional team to ensure we deliver great product availability and quality.
• You will be responsible to track inventory, maintaining target stock levels and maintain accurate data
• You will be responsible for managing and liaising with supplier and maintain good communication and relationship
• You will be responsible for purchase order generation and expedition
