As a Buyer, your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with external organizations and companies, increasing sponsorship and advertising revenue, and managing sales processes for assigned areas. As a Buyer your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited too:

  • Proactively research potential clients and establish new business relationships.
  • Increase sponsorship and advertising revenue through strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned areas, from identifying potential clients to negotiating contract terms.
  • Monitors project teams and stakeholders to ensure contracts are executed as planned.
  • Develop and submit sales contracts, ensuring all terms are mutually beneficial.
  • Utilize physical inventory to maximize sponsorship revenue and provide added value opportunities for sponsors.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial client relationships to maximize value for both the client and the university.
  • Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as Epicor for efficient and effective planning and management.
  • Employ strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Track sales activity and report on the status of sales components.
