THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Procurement Buyer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring best value procurement to support the smooth running of our business. Collaborating closely with inventory planning and operational colleagues, you’ll play a key role in selecting the suppliers we use to deliver our services and will support group initiatives to drive cost savings and reduce risk in the supply chain.
You’ll be part of a great team, and will, as required, help to manage inventory levels whilst providing cover for the procurement manager.
As Safetykleen transitions into a new ERP system, this is also a great opportunity to develop new skills through this exciting change.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant experience within a similar role – ideally within manufacturing / engineering industries. Spare parts / consumables ideal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; dynamic, self-motivated, self-driven.
• Driven, passionate, “can do attitude” and a “self-starter”.
• Commercial acumen.
