Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all doors.
- Prioritise a seamless execution of store services, primarily our xStore POS solution but also across other functions to achieve retail excellence across the UK estate, ensuring timely management of any technical challenges that inhibit store service and mitigate inconsistencies.
- Responsible for operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all sites, including POS procedure and team safety and security.
- Lead and educate on loss prevention measures to minimise loss and maintain accurate stock holding.
- Work alongside Retail Managers to support their efforts in managing store operations and achieving sales targets.
- Provide guidance and support to Retail Managers in implementing company initiatives and best practices.
- Facilitate regular communication and feedback between the Global Retail Operations team and Retail team to understand areas of inefficiency and/or mis-practice, working alongside them to come to resolutions which bring efficiency for the store.
- Manage partnership with the Global Operations team, communicating pre-deployment needs, feedback on support to continuously enhance initiatives, identify core issues, prioritise business needs and amplify the post go-live impact on business, costs, efficiency and standardisation.
- Manage and execute the rollout of new programs, technologies, and initiatives aimed at enhancing store performance and retail excellence.
- Liaise closely with marketing, merchandising, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation of launches.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure new initiatives are effortless for day-to-day use ensuring that our teams can maintain focus on exceptional customer service.
- Analyse customer feedback with our customer services team and implement strategies to address areas of concern and improve the overall shopping experience.
- Work closely with our facilities team to ensure all stores comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, ensuring any newly identified risks on visits or store reports are directed back to facilities for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with internal and external legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory concerns, ensuring trading Standards compliance checks.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on service quality or operational efficiency.
- Support field teams in ways to optimise store services.
