The Workplace Service team aims to deliver advanced office intelligence solutions for better management efficiency and user experience. In ByteDance, the team builds intelligent decision-making platforms for business owners and builds efficient products for employees. There are more than 40 products in which you could participate in the design and the implementation!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields, graduating in 2025.
• Must be available to start in January, May, or September 2025 in Dubai [must have graduated before agreed starting month].
• Familiar with operating systems, computer networks, information security and common programming languages;
• Capable of using common data structures and algorithms to solve problems;
• Strong sense of innovation, self-driven, and results-oriented;
• Proficient in English as a working language.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational experiences related to computer science;
• Familiar with Java or Golang related technology stack; familiar with JVM / Golang pprof related tuning skills;
• Familiar with MySQL and mainstream NoSQL databases, with related usage and optimization experiences, able to analyze and solve related problems independently;
• Familiar with at least one scripting language, able to independently troubleshoot / solve problems on Linux;
• Familiarity with AI / ML and being able to build products with AI.

• Participating in the server-side project development of ByteDance’s system, delivering highly available, high-performance, and scalable business products through high-quality design and implementation;
• Participating in the implementation of backend infrastructure and research of new technology and AI to tackle complicated technical problems;
• Exploring tools and processes to improve engineering efficiency. Deeply involved in the team’s engineering excellences.
• Continuously contribute at all stages of the product delivery cycle, including but not limited to requirement communication / system design / monitoring and operation of online systems / project management, etc.
