Description
Leidos is seeking a C-130 Quality Control Technician with knowledge of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) C-130 airframe and installed system. The C-130 Quality Control Technicians will be part of the Contractor Engineering and Technical Support team in support of a U.S. Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year assignment with option to renew. Assignment location may be one of seven locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per the Performance Work Statement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level quality assurance and quality control management subject matter expertise.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation safety and security procedures related to RSAF aircraft maintenance.
- Review of technical data and other pertinent maintenance publications for accuracy, applicability, content, and recommend changes.
- Perform historical trend analysis to determine root cause of the most serious and prevalent issues to prevent repetition.
- Research information from Technical Order and Publications.
- Render safe procedure and disposal procedures.
- Correspondence with internal and external organizations as directed to support and accomplish safety requirements.
- Preparation of HQ level staff reports and professional correspondence.
- Detach and track Maintenance Deficiency.
- Train RSAF personnel (OJT).
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and ten (10) years’ experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years’ experience; OR sixteen (16) years’ experience with proper certification(s) and no degree.
- Ten (10) years’ experience in Quality Control.
- Knowledgeable in all C-130 Aircraft models with focus on the C-130J.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures.
- Knowledgeable in Maintenance Forms.
- Excellent oral and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in RSAF work environment and on RSAF systems preferred.
- Able to demonstrate past examples of cultural adaptability and ability to establish a trusted professional relationship with an international customer.
