Responsibilities:
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Ensuring the safe and effective Comms and Controls (C&C) of the project (or a particular component thereof) in accordance with the specified requirements and client expectations.
- Providing commissioning, coordination and leadership expertise in the planning, implementing and undertaking of the electrical and integration aspects of the project.
- Ensuring the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner ensuring the finished product is safe and conforms to all standards and requirements defined within the scope under the contract.
- Monitoring key commissioning requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers work.
- Managing the verification of conformance for works under control.
- Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- An electrical bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Applying engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
- Stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
