To achieve this mission, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Music & Live Ticketing Development Team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Prior experience in the ticketing or event management industry.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will play a critical role in refactoring and enhancing our ticketing platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to modernize our legacy applications, develop new features, and ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our solution. Your expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server, combined with your experience in cloud environments like Azure, will be crucial in driving our technical strategy forward.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Refactoring Initiatives: Take ownership of refactoring legacy .NET Framework 4.8 applications (including ASP.NET Web Forms) to modern .NET Core solutions.
- Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using C#, .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core.
- Database Management: Optimize and manage our SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- Azure Cloud Integration: Work with Azure services, particularly Azure App Services, to deploy, manage, and monitor our applications in the cloud.
- Architecture & Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of our evolving platform, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and security.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
