By joining our Global Engineering Training and Development team in Montreal, you will work in a multidisciplinary team in the field of organizational development. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within the instructional design field and the chance to contribute to the continued success of our organization. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on:

  • The training needs analysis;
  • The implementation of training programs responding to Global Engineering employees’ needs;
  • The trainings follow up

Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office.

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to create compelling and valuable content.
  • Creative thinking skills.
  • Self-starting skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and able to successfully plan, manage and execute multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to be pragmatic, action oriented

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing degree in Education, Educative Technology, Instructional Design or any other related field – at least one year completed and/or with relevant experience

THE ROLE WE ARE OFFERING YOU:

By joining our Global Engineering Training and Development team in Montreal, you will work in a multidisciplinary team in the field of organizational development. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within the instructional design field and the chance to contribute to the continued success of our organization. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on:

  • The training needs analysis;
  • The implementation of training programs responding to Global Engineering employees’ needs;
  • The trainings follow up.

More specifically, are you ready to apply the ADDIE model and:

  • Analyze the training needs of a given group in Global Engineering.
  • Follow the journey of new employees in this group to observe the difficulties encountered.
  • Meet with experts to identify training gaps.
  • Set up a new employee training program for this group.
  • Make recommendations regarding the structure and methods to use.
  • Review the plan with the experts and ensure that it will meet their expectations.
  • Design the courses for this program.
  • Create online training courses in our training management tool – Workday Learning – (video tutorials, including writing scripts for narration, taking screenshots, recording audio commentary, and editing video/audio).
  • Take feedback on courses and program and make recommendations.
  • Make recommendations for more one-off course development projects or provide assistance by providing advice to other members of the Training and Development team.

Location of the internship is CAE Montréal.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
  • Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
